Everything started back in April 1986
Ioannis Martakis and Angelos Tsekouras, following their family tradition in the meat industry, opened their first store in Vrilissia, Athens on Penteli Avenue, where the company’s main store are still based. Their excellent cooperation and their common vision for their company pushed them to create their second store in Galatsi on Veikou Avenue in 1997.
Continuously enriching their know-how around meat, whilst following the market trends and serving the needs of their customers, they have undergone over time radical renovations and upgrades of both stores and their equipment always aiming for progression and innovation.
Since 2000, while emphasizing on the excellent hygiene, they have obtained ISO and HACCP certifications and have hired a Food Technologist as an external partner in order to continuously train the company’s staff, thus ensuring high standards in the field of hygiene and quality.
Having completed more than 30 years of operation, I. Martakis and A. Tsekouras are writing a new page in their history, opening a state-of-the-art space that combines many years of experience with innovation following their ultimate goal an ever increasing customers’ satisfaction.
