Beef

Beef has high nutritional value which is necessary for the human body as it contains countless nutrients and is a rich source of iron, proteins, vitamins B6 and B12, magnesium and zinc. According to pediatricians and nutritionists, beef can be beneficial for the growth and well being of children, athletes and all adults in general when consumed in a balanced diet plan. Pork

Pork belongs also in the red meat family and is a very rich source of protein with high biological value. It contains iron, calcium, zinc, and complex A & B vitamins. It has low cholesterol levels and offers a rich taste and a wide variety of meat products.

Chicken

Chicken and its products are low fat, easily digestible and full of proteins which provide nutrition and stimulation to the human body, regardless our age. Chicken, turkey and their products are considered high nutritional as they do not offer any unnecessary calories due to their low fat levels thus playing an important role in someone’s diet. Chicken is considered to be amongst the first choices of people who follow a weight loss diet with increased amount of lean protein.

Lamb and Goat

Lamb and goat usually have their place of honor at the greek festive table but they are also part of our daily diet as being a valuable source of proteins, complex B vitamins as well as iron and zinc which are beneficial for the human body. Additionally, their meat, when compared to other animal proteins is lower in fat therefore has lower levels of cholesterol. In fact, half of the fat found in lamb is monounsaturated which consists of the same type of fat found in the olive oil.
