Angus or Aberdeen Angus is a breed of cattle that originated in the Aberdeenshire region of Scotland. Over the years, the breed has been transported around the world and is now one of the most popular breeds with excellent meat under conditions. Its quality is mainly due to the fact that the (Black) Angus breed is almost exclusively grass-fed and free-range. The differentiation of these cattle that makes them considered superior is the marbling of their meat. Throughout the length of the flesh, light-colored fatty tissues “run” that give the meat the appearance of a marble slab, but at the same time give it a distinct taste and tenderness when cooked.
In our stores you can find Black Angus beef from countries with a tradition of breeding it such as America, Argentina, Uruguay and Australia.
